Run the whole club - from the first training session to the cup final.
The game is real time, so each hour in real life represent one day in the game. There will be 2 matches per day. Sometimes 3 when you participate in the cup.
If you want to challenge your friends to see who is the best manager - just sign up and join the same region and you'll be able to compete against eachother to see who gets highest in the ranking.
A big part in My Football Squad is to buy, sell and rent players to improve your team. Just go to the transfer list or the scout page and bid on the players your are interested in, and after 3-4 game days you'll know if your bid has been accepted or maybe overbid.
When you give your players time on the pitch, then they'll improve over time - and you can even sell them again at a higher price or just keep them to win the big trophy.
After the matches has been played, you can see them in a graphical way to know what your players are doing.
The league is bigger so if teams doesn't have a human player - the other teams will intelligently play, buy, negotiate etc.
